Residential Services
Residential Services are designed to enable individuals to live as independently as possible via opportunities received through residential living experiences. There are 24 homes located throughout Clinton County, with a total of 129 residents. Services provided within each home are developed based upon the specific needs of each individual. Twenty four hour supervision is provided to ensure the highest level of safety.
Our main focus is the development of each individual's skills and ensuring individuals have access to many opportunities for community integration. We encourage individuality, independence, integration and productivity principles when determining and implementing services.
Residential habilitation services focuses on increasing an individual’s personal care skills, household maintenance skills, money management ability, socialization and relationships skills; all while creating an environment to ensure individuals safety and well being. Our goal is to enhance, guide and support individuals in order to help them strive toward an independent and fulfilling life. Employing these philosophies allows each person to become an active member of his or her home and community by participating and contributing to the greatest extent allowed by each individual's ability levels and interests.
The role of the residence staff is to assist in the smooth operation of the homes, to ensure individuals are performing tasks as independently as possible, to ensure the home is neat and clean in appearance both inside and outside, to ensure that individuals personal care needs are being met and that habilitation services are being implemented to ensure growth and/or maintenance of individuals skills.
